Grenache and Shiraz
Handpicked parcels of Grenache and Shiraz from our 1950’s Kays Road vineyard is blended in the vineyard for co-fermentation in one small open fermenter. Then, plunged three times daily before being gently pressed and added to seasoned French Oak barrels for the final stages of ferment and MLF. Short maturation period (approximately 3 months) in oak then racked, coarsely filtered and bottled. Only 200 dozen have been made.
